The needy group in the country continue to receive attention from various parties. In this regard, Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Berhad, BIBD, held the handover of a newly constructed home under the Projek Teduh initiative. Such initiative signifies the Bank's continued commitment to enhancing community well-being and uplifting vulnerable families through sustainable social development efforts. The handover of the house key was held at Kampung Wasan.

The handing over the house key was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Coordinating Minister for Social and Manpower Policies and Minister of Home Affairs as Chairman of the BIBD Group to the recipient, Awang Razali Bin Haji Akop. The initiative underscores BIBD's commitment to support national priorities through impactful and sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes, aimed at improving quality of life. The construction commenced on the 11th of April 2026 and was fully completed on the 25th of May.
